​SHAW's HIKER HOSTEL​

​​After thru hiking the Appalachian Trail in 2008 the trail became a part of our lives forever.  In 2015 the opportunity arose to truly become an integral part of this national treasure.

Along with our spirited children and trail dog, we have made Shaw's in Monson, Maine our new home. Our home is your home!

As thru hikers ourselves we know what hikers crave and at Shaw's you will find everything you need, as well as the comforts of home. ​​If you don't see it just ask. We will make every effort to help you along your hike.  Relax and enjoy a cold Maine craft beer or soda with us and share a story. We love hearing about your hike!  

 Shaw's Hiker Hostel is located in the heart of Monson, on the edge of the 100 mile wilderness.  Shaw’s has been a popular trail stop for over 4 decades. With a breakfast known to be one of the best from Georgia to Maine, comfortable beds, a quiet setting Shaw's is a perfect stop along the AT to relax, refresh, and regroup.
